Capacity, deposits, catering, bar rules, set-up windows and clean-up — the questions families actually call about, answered in plain language.
How a date gets held, what it costs to hold it, and what happens if plans change.
Most weddings reserve nine to eighteen months out, and Saturdays in May, June, September and October go first. Corporate meetings, showers and celebrations of life are often arranged within a few weeks, so it is always worth asking about a short-notice date.
A signed agreement and a 25% non-refundable deposit reserve the hall exclusively for you. Until both are in place the date stays open to other inquiries, even after a tour.
The remaining balance is due 60 days before your event. We are happy to split it into instalments across that window if that is easier to budget.
Yes — a refundable $250 damage deposit applies to every booking. It is returned after the event once the hall has been walked through, which for most groups is a formality.
The 25% deposit is non-refundable, and a 25% cancellation fee applies inside 30 days of the event. If your plans shift rather than end, talk to us first — we will move you to another open date whenever the calendar allows.
Capacity, layout and the practical details you need to plan a floor plan.
The hall holds up to 300 guests. Round tables of eight with a dance floor and head table comfortably seats 240 to 260; theatre or ceremony seating reaches the full 300.
Yes. Couples regularly hold the ceremony at one end of the hall and flip the room during cocktails, or use the lawn for an outdoor ceremony with the hall held in reserve for weather.
Tables and chairs are included and set to your floor plan before you arrive. Linens, china and specialty rentals are easy to add through local vendors we can point you to.
The hall includes house sound with microphones, dimmable lighting, a stage area and a built-in dance floor. Bands and DJs plug straight in, and screens are available for slideshows or auction lots.
Yes. Single-level entry, ADA-compliant restrooms, wide aisles between tables and level parking directly outside the doors.
On-site parking accommodates a full 300-guest event, including room for buses, catering vans and equipment trailers with easy loading access.
Bring your own caterer, cake and bar plan — the kitchen is yours to use.
Absolutely, and most of our families do. There is no preferred-vendor requirement and no per-plate surcharge, which is where couples usually save the most money booking here.
A full commercial kitchen with warming and prep space, refrigeration, sinks and serving counters. Caterers and volunteer crews alike can run a 300-guest dinner out of it.
Yes. Church dinners, reunions and fundraisers often use volunteer crews in the kitchen. We will walk your team through the equipment before the event.
Alcohol is permitted with a licensed and insured bartending service. We will review your bar plan during planning so serving, security and end-of-night timing are all agreed in advance.
Free-standing decor, uplighting, drape and centrepieces are all welcome. We ask that nothing be nailed or screwed into the walls and that open flames be enclosed — LED and hurricane-glass candles are fine.
Access times, staffing and the clean-up expectations nobody thinks to ask about.
Standard bookings include access the morning of the event, and same-week rehearsal or decorating time is usually available if the calendar is clear. Ask when you book and we will write it into your agreement.
Yes. A member of our team is on site through your event for the building itself — climate, lighting, restrooms and anything that needs attention — so your planner or family can stay with your guests.
Music typically ends by 11pm with the last guests out by midnight. Later end times can be arranged in advance for weddings and proms.
You take out your decor, personal items and rental returns; we handle the tables, chairs, floors and restrooms. Trash bins and a loading door are right off the hall to make the load-out quick.
Regularly — proms, athletic banquets, graduations, 4-H recognition nights, church dinners and fundraisers. Community pricing is deliberately simple so a volunteer committee keeps more of what it raises.
Call the hall and speak to an owner, or send the details of your event and we will come back to you within one business day.
